Christmas Showdown - the Gremlins vs Kevin McCallister.
Kevin is home alone as Stripe and 20 Gremlins try to invade the McCallister house. At midnight is when Stripe is going to launch his attack, Kevin has to hold them off until sunrise. How long if at all can Kevin hold them off?
Kevin knows they are coming and has 5 hours prep time and he has access to whatever he had in his house from the first Home Alone.
Making an accurate trap becomes harder the smaller and more agile a creature is. Especially one as chaotic as the Gremlin, inside of a house they have so any avenues of approach it's not even funny. If they were like dogs and could only walk/run would be one thing, but with their abilities to climb and everything else on top of intelligence they would be very difficult to hinder.
Humans with all of their intelligence, are going to usually go in a pre programmed route to get to something you know they will take the stairs, doors, windowes etc.

20 is a lot, even if they just straight bullrush in a single file column, probably ly half are going to get to Kevin. Remember, his traps are a one trick pony, and they are going to hinder Kevin's ability to move around the house and evade the Gremlins as well. O top of them being tough little bastardized and most of his tricks being non lethal, I see very little chance of him winning this scenario.
I honestly couldn't answer that question, depends on how realistic you wanna get with the whole thing. I mean a child handling two experienced (supposedly) adult men is pretty far fetched as it is. Adding multiple, magical little monsters adds a whole new level of variables.
With everything going his way, and the gremlins falling perfectly for his shenanigans, it's conceivable that he could take out ten maybe.
I firmly believe 5 gremlins or even less could end him. But I'm just one poster, I'm sure others might have good arguments to suggest otherwise.
