Well it is sad that Marvel is so Pushing Thanos right now that it is limiting it self in what it can and cannot do. I mean They are so Over Powering Thanos in his stupid abilities that they aren't going to be able to top this when they have to move on to something new.

But there is precedence for this which was first brought up in the 2nd GR Series with the Villain Flag Smasher. Which also stared Punisher and He also made the claim that insanity can defuse the PS.

It didn't work with Punisher or Deadpool, and Venom KOd him when he tried it on him.
