Yeah, its horrifying what he lost, but most people would move on.

Plenty of characters have been through so much worse.

Bruce has nothing going for him, the second he loses that drive, he’ll cease to be Batman.

Might even drive him crazy.

It makes sense to him, and justifies it to him. That alone is enough. Plus, he is a bit mental anyway.

Anyone as smart as Bruce is likely to have major mental issues. OCD would be one of those issues. He is likely narcissistic and bi-polar also. As it's been said, "There is no genius without having a touch of madness".

Batman is Stuck on a Unrealistic Fantasy City, 🙄And He's Endangering Kids while being stuck.
