I sympathise. As you get older you just tend to care less and less about certain things. For me, it's because I just didn't find them worth my time anymore. Similar for you?

I mean.... speak for yourselves, I have plenty to still be vain about.

I am still very vain.

Don't get me wrong, there are things I still care about. Just not as many as there were, say, a decade ago.

👆 Your approaching middle age now, it's natural.

Which means you are already too old to date Whirly

😂

Even if Whirly gets put in a wheelchair and becomes impotent, he will still be picking up 18yos.

Jesus, I'm not that old.

From my pov, it comes with gaining a better understanding of the kinds of people that create the things I used to care about. Or should I say, contribute in their own way to the things I cared about in some ways.

It's that kind of "seeing behind the curtain" too, and the realisation that the concept of "adulthood" is largely a falsehood.

You're 38, old pal. 40 is the start of middle age 🙂

You know, Trent Reznor writes songs best when other people sing them. That is a tune!

Agree 100% Much as I love Lennon, Roxy Music did a far better version of Jealous Guy. Just one of many examples.

Mushroomhead - Crazy (Seal)
Disturbed - Shout (Tears for Fears)
Dope - Rebel Yell (Billy Idol)
Celldweller - Tragedy (Beegess)

Disturbed - Land of Confusion (Genesis) not neccesserily superior but ****ing great.

👆

Both are great in their own way, no need to choose one over the other.
