He never said that he got this God ball from the last planet, he just mentioned it's the last one they have. They probably saved that one for last since it's the strongest one of them all.
The entire purpose of the game for Brutal was to make Hulk look weak and it was supposed to be a friendly game but it turned into something else. They gave Hulk the strongest ball of them all along with an unfriendly match.

Yeah, I'm not arguing it wasn't the strongest.
Again, if I compress coal, I can get diamond, which is super hard. It's literally how you can make iron/ steel harder - you get a hammer and anvil, and you hit it, making it stronger. That's one reason why you see blacksmiths hammering away .
It says nothing about the initial mass of the lump of iron I started out with.
