Don't admins already have the ability to move a post though? What I'm wondering is if transferring the offending post out of the general discussion thread instead of deleting it would have prevented it from making the thread vanish. Then you just nuke it with delete and if you lose the junk files thread it wouldn't hurt anything.

It's also worth keeping perspective, all this board is, is a place to discuss fictional characters with impossible abilities which vary from appearance to appearance with for the most part relative strangers. In terms of subject discussions pitting the Hulk against Thor for the 800th time really isn't the height of polite discussion. Doesn't make it bad, it just makes it unimportant. 🙂
