Yes to all. 👆For me the Season of Mists arc was the best arc of the series. Fantastic artwork, and an even better story.
And yeah, Overture is amazing. 👆
yeah that was the essential arc, intro of lucifer and endless family
btw Galan I haven't watched season 3 of the Preacher amc series yet, is it any good?

Vertigo has been a shell of it's former self, but the imprint still had a handful of good books. More quality than shit, IMO.
I don't necessarily disagree, even if I think that the current quality of certain books isn't what it used to be.
What I was more talking about was them pushing the wrong books. Books written by shit writers and watched over by shit editors. Basically what happened with Marvel, but on a smaller scale.
*Went ahead and edited the title and OP:

Aside from just discussing weekly ownage and whatnot, this thread has also transitioned into a sort of general comic book talk thread, which is totally fine. With that being said, it will now officially take the place of the previous "Comic Book Questions" thread in the less trafficked CB forum. So feel free to ask any questions, or discuss any info related to comic books here. It's Unfollow. I thought that was an awesome series.

But the show only follows the comics very loosely.

His most recent high-end stuff(ie. shattering a world while weakened, and one-shotting World Forger) happened in Justice League #19-25. Really have to read the issues to get a complete sense of what was happening there.
Yeah Phil just sent me a link, Just halfway through #19 now.

Perfect. 👆You should post your thoughts once you've finished them.
Well that was certainly the best story arc I've read for a long while. So much to absorb. It is interesting to see the backstory behind the World Forger, Monitor and Anti-Monitors lives. The little nod to Crisis on Infinite Earths was cool. It was interesting to see Perpetua locked away by what I'm guessing was an agent of one of the other "Super Celestials" (the Eagle). I'd love to know what/who they are. I really liked the twist of the World Forger joining up with the Justice League. I was expecting that punch from Superman to kill him, either that or World Forger to just kill himself to somehow carry out his plan.
Anticipating a little family row between the three brothers. Anti-Monitor doesn't strike me as the most temperate of people.

I also find it funny in comics how World Forger this being that is billions if not trillions of years old, extremely clever presumably. But he just so happens to not imagine the one scenario where he would come undone. Always like that with the big villain winning then comes undone. Just always find it funny.
