But wasn't Korvac implied to have beaten LT to escape his imprisonment after that scene? I don't remember exactly how that IM arc wrapped up, though.

Korvac gave up his powers and committed suicide.

The New Avengers: Illuminati #3 story took place in the past, Galan. Xavier in the wheelchair. Only the final issue took place in the then-current time.

But I see what you're saying here 👆 And even the non-cosmic, perfectly mortal characters get brought back & retconned all the time; often without any explanation regarding their resurrection.

Hey why does Tony Stark get a pass for being a straight rich white guy? Like how Danny Rand gets shat on for being a rich white savior hippie ditz, or how Thor is dumped on as an Aryan looking square jaw who becomes The Dude from the Big Lobowski banging ugly chicks and losing his own hammer to his former girlfriend.

Nobody hates Tony, nobody wants to race swap Tony, nobody wants a gay Tony, everyone loves Tony as he is.
