So this happened before Superman merged with New 52 Superman?

😂

Carver, re-read that storyline. A merged common background was created for both Supermen.

There's no post Crisis or new 52 Superman anymore, there's been only one Superman in continuity now.

So new 52 and post crisis Superman merging did nothing?

😂

It did as much as it did to Saitama.

Hmmm... so who are the other seven Abstracts you guys think he's referring to here?

I'd guess Eternity, Infinity, Death, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Galactus... Living Tribunal?

There was a spoiler for In-betweener's new design.

So it could be him, even though he was technically created Master Order and Lord Chaos.

My guesses would be: Eternity, Death, Infinity, Oblivion, Master Order, Lord Chaos, In-betweener, and Galactus.

What I want it to be: Eternity, Death, Infinity, Oblivion, Master Order, Lord Chaos, Mistress Love, and Master Hate.

I'll doubt the Living Tribunal will count about the "Universal Abstract," because in the Time Runs Out, Hickman referred to the Living Tribunal as "All of Reality--the Multiverse--taken form."

There are two types of cosmic beings in Marvel.

First there are the Abstracts; they are some universal concept personified. Eternity, Death, and so on. They do not require or use any hosts or such to function, they exist independently.

Then there are the Forces, who bond to/with some mortal host. Galactus (with hosts such as Galan or Franklin), Phoenix (Jean, Rachel, etc.), Enigma Force, etc.

Thus, Galactus is rather an avatar of a Force (Power Cosmic) than an Abstract. Abstract always relates to some concrete concept, such as "death" or "infinity" (non-capitalized), which "galactus" or "phoenix" are not.

So if we were to pick eight true Abstracts, those could be:
Eternity - Infinity
Death - Oblivion
Order - Chaos
Love - Hate

Edit. Posted this before I saw Astner's post; the same list, I see.

^ If Mistress Love or Master Hate had actual feats, I might take them more seriously. All they seem to do is show up in splash pages.

There are of course other candidates like the Queen of Nevers, Anomaly, and a few other forgotten ones. But I doubt they'll come into play.

Rogue with Wonder Man's powers gets skeletonized BG a nuke but saved by Deadpool's healing factor.

How do they produce speech when they lack the lungs, diaphragm, throat, and tongue?

👆 how indeed

So is Wolverine vs. Predator canon? I'm assuming not since it is insinuating that the Yautja are responsible for Logan's escape from the weapon x facility.

I assume not - I did like the reverse engineering of the Yautja mask to be the Weapon X mask though ...

Such cross-overs are rarely canon.

But if Marvel really wanted it to count, there's nothing stopping them right now. Both are owned by Disney.

No need to clutter up Wolverine's history.

It's the same thing they did in the Daredevil/Batman crossover where it shows Matt Murdock competing with Harvey Dent when they were in law school. Fun imagining how their origins might have intersected but it's just fan service.

Hi Whirly

The Living Tribunal's new design.
