Never ask a woman her age or weight, a man his salary or a Clawfinger fan their favourite song...

Hulk was knocked out for half an issue by half of a four storey building lmao

A regular human draws blood from him by a regular syringe too.

then h1 would kindly point out that the dude is clearly stronger than Punisher and feats aren't transferable

One day you'll learn the rules of debating.

Tbf, it takes astronomically more pressure to use a knife Vs a syringe. The edge of a knife is like a series of points, whilst a syringe is a single point. The maths do not lie.

Plus that looks like a sort of gun syringe. Mechanically assisted feat. Paradox resolved.

I'm curious why abstract beings like Oblivion and LT(especially the latter) would ever feel the need to take human form in the first place?

Also not a fan of the redesigns at all. It's not a huge deal, but after all these years... Why bother?

I quite like Oblivions redesign. Its very cosmic horror/Lovecraftian which is in line with him being the embodiment of primordial chaos.

His previous design was naff imo. He looked like a He-man villain. 😬

^ I never even thought to believe that the Enigma was a Dominion.

Dominions are made up of Titans. Titans are interstellar societies that have become so advanced that the density of their unified intelligence have collapsed space-time into singularities. Dominions are collectives of Titans (at least ten but usually averaging many more) and are universal who may transcend the time/space of a universe but they certainly haven't been hinted as being multiversal in any comic I've ever read.

Dominions fear Galactus and the Phoenixforce and other universal abstracts.

I strongly doubt, nor have ever endorsed, that the Enigma is a Dominion. Dominions are way down the pecking order in the overall Marvel cosmic hierarchy.

How ironic coming from the guy who was worried how Hickman might up-end what Ewing was establishing.

Talk about having your cake and eating it too. Purple prose is purple prose.

Dominions are below universal abstracts. Hickman also made it clear that Dominions fear Galactus and the Phoenixforce.

You can reserve judgment but there is no way I am going to conflate the Enigma with a Dominion. And there is ample evidence against making such a wild assumption. It's not serious enough to engage, let alone entertain.

As I stated back in September, the Enigma/Dominion referred to in Defenders Beyond is the Dominion referred to in X-men:

There was no way Marvel would’ve had two different outside of space/time threats to reality, called Dominion, pop up from different writers within the same X-men writing team, ( Ewing and Gillen) at the same time. Being current X-writers they would be actively sharing ideas and proposals to ensure some sense of cohesiveness. Common sense is consistently shown to be a somewhat misleading term.

All that unnecessary hot air and condescension only for Marvel to burst your bubble and prove me right yet again.

It was just a matter of waiting it out. Enjoy the holidays. 😉

I have to catch up with X-Men, but have they revealed more about the "child of the sun"/"phoenix blade" part of this timeline yet?

Not yet, but the reveal for that is imminent. Id guess in either next weeks Fall of the House of X or in Rise of the Powers of X on the 10th.

The PF has just played a part in the creation of Enigma and i think "Rise" is probably going to address the alternate future fallout of that and likely feature the Phoenix Blade.

Lets see 😉

More importantly:

Didn't Batman lose a hand? Does he have it back now?

He used reversed cursed energy.

He most definitely did.

Don't tell me it was already ignored? 😂

Lol unless there's something screwy with the timeline, but it seems completely ignored/forgotten.

I thought he was working with a robo-hand as of Gotham War

You shouldn't participate in debates if you don't know basic information about the characters.

Each and every h1 post is made out of platinum, I swear 😂

But it's simple. We just redefine what 'basic' means.
