so which of his statements do we take at face value? is darkseid "only" galactus level now? because that's what snyder said he had the potential to become. or do we wait and see what darkseid actually achieves on panel and go from there?

I would say we just take what we've on-panel as the prime source and the interviews as secondary source that just serve to help we understand what happens on-panel.

Edit:
I feel this also involves the problem that the writer talks about a character that he doesn't own.
It basically just like the writer of the Invincible talks about how his characters fare against DC/Marvel characters. The part of him talking about DC/Marvel characters obviously holds no weight, but the part of him talking about *his* characters are something holds some weight since he *did* write these characters IMO

Likely more to it.
We all hope so. Because conglomerated multiversal True Form Darkseid did sh1t during Dark Crisis.

Remember, the Alpha Universe unseated the Prime universe as the center of power of the multiverse/metaverse and he just became god of it.
Huh? Did I miss where this Darkseid-centric "All-In" universe unseated the prime DC universe in the multiversal scheme of things?

Yes, that much was implied. But conglomerated multiversal True Form Darkseid himself stated that once he's done with the "All-In" universe then, he'd come back for the prime DC universe and wipe it out. That suggests just remaking the "All-In" universe itself won't achieve either supplanting Superman/hope as DC's core, much less destroying Earth-Prime.

If I could upvote this on KMC, I would. 👆 👆 👆

It only holds weight against other writer interviews to the contrary. Nothing more. Not on KMC, anyway per forum rules.

depends which level of galactus also, lifebringer is much powerful than your regular galactus.

Absolute Batman is actually....quite fun.

Fantastic Four was a good read, as always.

Ultimate Cap and Hawkeye taking out 1,000 mercenaries is pretty hardcore, even with Hawkeye's infinite trick arrows.

Oh yeah... but with important context...

Because Dark Nights: Death Metal #7 revealed that the Alpha World, a/k/a, Elseworld, a/k/a Absolute Universe, was one of two multiversal centers of the DC multiverse. And now we are finally exploring one of those two centers: Absolute Universe.

But we've already explored the other center in Infinite Frontier #0-6, its polar opposite: Earth Omega. And, well, that's where conglomerated multiversal True Form Darkseid already had dominion. And Darkseid's dominion over one of two multiversal centers turned out rather meaningless. So if past is precedent, Darkseid taking over Alpha World wouldn't involve unseating anything.

Then again, maybe this is where Joshua Williamson finally gets to shepherd/salvage his originally intended conglomerated multiversal True Form Darkseid storyline?

Because I'd still bet dollars to donuts that DC editorial hijacked Williamson's setup before/during Dark Crisis and completely marginalized conglomerated multiversal True Form Darkseid.

I did not know Nick Dragotta was illustrating Absolute Batman. His art is so stylized and I love it.

Ryan North's current run on Fantastic Four doesn't really have any overarching plot I can see. It's just been a whole bunch of self-contained stories. And it's been consistently delightful the entire time. I've been really impressed.

Ignore this. I had forgotten that Earth Omega was revealed to be a piece of the Great Darkness. Conglomerated multiversal True Form Darkseid was trying to actually control Earth Omega to harness the Great Darkness' power. He failed. So really... Earth Omega never came under Darkseid's dominion. Unlike that which has now happened with the Alpha World, a/k/a, Elseworld, a/k/a Absolute Universe.

Perhaps this is Darkseid's plan B now? Screw trying to harness the Great Darkness. Subvert the DC multiverse's core concept/engine of hope via this plot device alternate universe.

Yeah, it's just 'Oh, Doom is the sorcerer supreme, anyway, here are some little adventures'. It's great, not everything needs to be a multi issue infinity crisis of vampires.

When did Kitty Pryde become gay/bi? I always thought she was just a simple Commie lover....

Bloodlusted, too.

Bloodlusted, too.

Yup, anyone else in herald category would have been turned to pulp.

That sucks that three times Superman's strength only busts up some concrete. You would think that a bloodlusted superman would accidentally break the omniverse.

Why is this a good showing again?
