Eddie Brock, the new Carnage.

Does he go after Galactus in the storyline? Stay tuned!

I was concerned at first but I'm really looking forward to this. The inside head dialogue was fun, a Carnage of Culture.

It only worked in that issue thanks to the mirror etc. So prob isn't sticking.

KM's endless emails to MArvel begging them to make Alpha Flight relevant is paying off:

Is that Marrina?

Gotta say, Pax Victoris does not sound too bad. And check Sue out, doing what Wanda/Thor et al couldn't:

has sue's progression ever been explained? like how she became SUCH a powerhouse to the point where she's basically a walking mary sue? or are they just giving her more of a push these last few years at random?

She's not really a Mary Sue. But she's also been steadily ramping up in power since debuting in the 60s as a woman whose only power was to disappear. I think they've been emphasizing she's more powerful than the others since the 90s.

I think the main difference between her and characters that get a push is that they started pushing and just didn't stop.

👆

Sue was ripping Exitar apart in the mid-90s, iirc. So yeah, the powerhouse thing is nothing new -- Marvel just shoehorns her haxxness into the story whenever they can(especially the past decade or so.)

In any case, no longer applicable as Sue got more powerful after:

And the FF continually soak up rays (like Superman) so only get stronger over time:

Yeah, I think she's always been shown as more powerful than people think. Back in the 80s she was shielding against the UN and the TVA's wave, IIRC. In the same decade, she was shown using her shields to save people like the Hulk and Thor, all of whom have had power creeps - so comics being what they are, she too has to have a power creep to keep up.

Oof.

Does Red Hulk still have the "madder he gets the hotter he gets" thing going on or did they change it to the madder he gets, the stronger he becomes?

Maverick doesn't have either - he uses the Hulk Plug-In to transform. Makes you as strong as the Hulk, apparently.

What does he mean by "makes you halfway to a Hulk"?

The original SHIELD tech (which had bugs in it) enabled the user to get 50% of the Hulk's powers.

Did that mean Hulk's power isn't dynamic, at least, according to Carver's logic
How could someone have 50% or 100% of someone with dynamic strength?

How could someone have 3 times the strength of someone with dynamic power? Someone answer this, please. I also disagree with anyone turning into pulp by this character, lol.

Lol... When they say statements like this, it always means base Hulk.

Spider-Man will take care of this.

Stilt is gonna pull a Carver, not read the entire thing and stop when Spidey has died for the 8th time 👆

On a separate note, DC Vs vampires World War V was such a fun read.

Glad you're learning from me, keep it up.

I always did. You're a fine cautionary tale 👆
