I don't mind OT discussions in this thread on occasion, but please, let's keep the flagrant bashing and personal attacks out of here. That crap has already bled-over into WAY too many threads as it is.

We're all grown ass adults here, and there's only a handful of us left these days anyway, lol. Just keep it civil and talk comics... It's not that deep, and I really despise editing/deleting posts for things like this. 👆

Like MrMind said, The Chronicler is basically an Omniversal version of Metron. His purpose isn't really to 'do' anything -- he is more of an observer who, as the name implies, chronicles multiversal cataclysms throughout the entirety of DC.

...Plus he also resurrected Metron during Death Metal, so there's that pseudo-fatherly sort of connection between them now. IOW, him showing up in the current New Gods series is actually quite fitting, plot-wise. 👆
