The sheer randomness of this made me lol.

Popped in for the first time in a bit, read the last two pages, and my decision to forget about comics has been reaffirmed....

I don't understand why Lightning Lad is black. What is the point? Ugh.

Does time get slower as it ages and if it does will we notice the movements of comic characters in real time in the comic books?

Stay away from them, Rage. Nothing good comes from reading comics nowadays.

Hickman and Cosmic comics are decent right now.

I stopped with DC until that faggy permanently delayed comic series comes out again. Just hurry up with DM vs Supes

I do like Hickman's X-Men stuff right now, yeah. I also enjoy the hell out of Morrison's GL.

Same here, And if bendis really retconned jon is the creator of legion, Then i'm not sure i would have any interest in the upcoming legion issues

I'm not sure what's the fuss with this is? Superman has never been the one to establish United Planets.

Do people even know Legion history for this faux outrage?

No seriously, tell me about the time SuperMAN was relevant for Legion. Or Legion for Superman. It was always about Superboy.

And this is nothing new, even pre crisis Legion hardly mattered for Superman.

What's current Supes origin? Was he Superboy at any point?

Not clear

We should rate feats and stats on a scale. And then give the character a final number based on the average or total (whichever i guess) . So like

Supermans durability (random examples)

Tanks attack from above universal being-10
Survives supernova-9
Blackhole-8
Planetbusting attack-6
Country level-4
Nuke-3
Random thug knocks him out-1

Or something like that. Probably not even feasible, I'm just kinda stoned early in the morning and it sounded good.
And by we, I mean literally everyone except me should scour through 60 years of comics and attempt to do this.

It's not that they chose Jon instead of Superman, abhi. It's the dialogue that makes the scene cringey.

On that I agree.

But it always connected to Kal-el, I mean like pre-crisis or even byrne era the superboy with the legion always was Kal-el( Even though byrne retconned him to an alternative universe/pocket universe). And post zero hour the legion still was inspired by superman legends, Later in johns Action Comics even have a Superman And The Legion Of Super-Heroes story arc
I persoanlly think the legion not only related to Superboy, But rather is related to Superboy: Kal-el.
Also the dialogue makes me feel a bit uncomfortable

He's not wrong.

After the crisis, Pocket Universe became the inspiration. And after Zero Hour destroyed the pocket universe, Mon-El/Lar Gand/Valor became the inspiration, for some reason.

My Legion history is pretty shaky after that, but at some point I believe Superman did become the inspiration, as Kon-El wore his colors in a crossover with the Legion (And was a big disappointment to some, unfortunately). And judging by Lightning Saga, Superman again had some kind of effect on their forming, though I'm uncertain how, exactly.

Given all the retcons and whatnot that Dr. Manhattan has preformed on Superman's history, I'm honestly not sure what his past even entails at this point...
