I posted scans from the Masters of the Universe "Eternity War" fight between He-Man and She-Ra, where Adam becomes a curmudgeonly tyrannical ruler, and She-Ra has to take him down. Stilt comments "I didn't know you were a feminist!"
It was a One shot story of a much bigger canvas that simply asked the question "What is He-Man, without Prince Adam?", but in a vacuum this DOES kind of seem like a foreshadowing of everything that became of Odin and Jane Foster. Maybe this little "What If" future story was the inspiration for all that tripe. 😂

So, I think it's obvious that this mini-story of Hickman's [Age of X/Powers of X] will end in Moira's death and entering of her final lifetime [i.e. 11th, which I'm quite sure we're not in yet]. I guess now it's just showing us how all of the others failed/worked up to the knowledge as they start anew.
So, in a sense, all the lives are a preview of what they have to do in the final timeline. By the end of these, I'll probably try to re-read them all and have a complete sense of what's the order of things, lol.
Considering what happened in the latest issue, that was my thought too.

Tbh, I've enjoyed each issue individually, but the story as a whole isn't really coming together for me yet, so I'm not sure what to expect at this point... And I'm pretty sure that's the way Hickman intentionally wrote these first few chapters.
It will definitely be fun to marathon read ALL of the issues once the story is more fleshed-out and moving in a single, cohesive direction.
Yeah, I think it's only going to really feel like a cohesive story once the whole thing is done. I've come to really respect Hickman's capabilities as a writer, but I can't imagine what it would have been like to read his arcs over the course of the years it took to finish them.
