He is amped since the beginning of that event he's wearing the grendel symbiote, that dragon symbiote sent by Knull the symbiote god himself. Carnage is collecting the spines of everyone who ever wore a symbiote to collect a certsin codex buried within them to get the knowledge he needs to find Knulls planet and take his power.

EDIT: Haven't seen Galan's post.

This is why context is there for.

Another day of Abhi failing miserably to lowball Hulk 😄

Don't worry, the writer already confirmed we'll be seeing a trans tier feat for Hulk soon.

Thor severed the connection between the grendel symbiote and Knull, electricity is more or less this Carnage's only weakness, that's how Venom managed to get away in the subway from Carnage. So basically what Thor did back then was weakness exploitation. I'm just not sure if they try to make Thor's feat less impressive by explaining it this way (and therefore not letting Knull appear like a noob) or if it has an actual impact later in the story how to defeat Carnage. Fire (including Hellfire) and Sonics are outright useless now that's for sure.

Cool, I thought Grendel was killed by the attack?

Lolwut?

Is no one going to acknowledge the laughably abrupt death that Bendis gave Jor-El?

I don't even understand the point of bringing Jor-El/Mr. Oz back? In the end he accomplished absolutely NOTHING relevant. 😕

That's just how pointless it was to bring him back in Oz effect was.

This issue of House of X in a nutshell:

F*cking insane... ermmnone

I'm always up for some Franklin-wank...

...happywank

JFC. 😖

They only reason I don't really dislike what Hickman is doing because I fully expect it all to fall apart by the end of this run.

What’s Apocalypse been like in house of X?

So I keep hearing rumors that DC comics is going under and that AT@T is going to pull the plug on it and there will be no more DC comics...anybody know anything about this?

We've only really seen him in the future, leading the last of the mutants.

This is pretty much his first real appearance in the present.

At this time it's a rumour and nothing more. I wouldn't but too much stock in it but who knows.

X-men been really good so far.
Hickman's a great writer

The second it was revealed that Oz was JorEl, it fell apart.
It’s like DC had other plans for who Oz was going to be but changed their mind half way through, picked JorEl and didn’t know what with him.

The entire arc just feels..useless. He plays a small role and it’s pointless, too. Initially, he spoke of DrManhattan; that’s went out the window after his 3rd appearance. Never mentioned again

Now his death, it’s even more dumb. No goodbyes, no implications, nothing about DrManhattan.

Yeah.

It goes back to the speed ranking list that DC put out a while ago:

The Oz/Jor-El plot could have been SO much more, but yeah, it was ultimately just a useless 'resurrection' that amounted to absolutely nothing in the end.

This is Bendis...

Lol... yep, he finds any kind of way to lowball the character. It feels good seeing him get corrected.

I’m not too familiar with this but I don’t think it’s entirely Bendis
I mean, he made sure JorEl was useless, but I feel like DC also made sure that some plot points with DrManhattan are dropped
