Also, I dont know why you mentioned Spiderman. Superman is being held in place, captive by something that even Batman is enduring. Is this how we debate?

Superman is weakened by Kryptonite in last issue. And Batman isn't enduring anything, anything that can hold Superman will hold Batman too.

Yes he has been upgraded. He's been wearing the Grendel symbiote Knull ancient right-hand symbiote which took form of a dragon back in Beowulf days before he was defeated by Thor. But not only that every former symbiote host that he kills he takes the power from an amp to so even further. As shown he he got Ghost Rider powers. Where are absolute Carnage left off the Venom symbiote merged with the immortal Hulk
