They were in space when they clocked Sentry, tho. ermmnone

He got clocked in orbit, so even if we assume he only picked up speed after escaping the atmosphere we still have a good notion of his acceleration to near light speed was in a very short distance, at least compared to Superman's depiction. Saying they are the same feat is still kind of lowballing Sentry.

Plus, he could have continued to accelerate after that.

Questions is, how JRJ still getting work in this industry when they are far better artist then him?

I would imagine it's consistency, just like it was for Liefeld or Chris Bachalo.

"Hey John, I need 20 pages by Friday, can you do that?"

"Sure thing, Boss."

Plus, dat name recognition.

Anyone remembers the issue?

The Alpha Flight Space Station sits at 250km above earth's surface. So yeah, we know Sentry accelerated to near light speed over a distance of 250km(~150mi) there. Pretty cool.

That being said, no real indication was given as to *when* exactly Superman hit light speed either. It could have also been as he was leaving earth's orbit, or it could have been well after that. We just know that he *was* moving at light speed.

I agree that a strict 1/1 comparison cannot be made between these showings, though. 👆

Same can be said about Superman as well.

I can understand him putting out 20 pages in a short time, but that still doesn’t excuse his inability to improve.

Look at the late Michael Turner, the man was putting out pages left and right, but his artwork was still top notch. Look at his work from Superman/Batman, Witchblade to Soulfire.

Turner wasn’t just artist, he was also a writer, a publisher and inker. His work never flattered, so if Turner was able to do multiple jobs and still put out such great arts, JRJ shouldn’t have any excuse.

Till this day, Turner is still one of the best artist around in the comic world, and one of my favorites, along with Alex Ross and Jim Lee.

About the Dark multiverse-

Based on how Flash Forward is defining it, every time someone on one of the worlds in the proper multiverse has a "bad" thought that doesn't actually pan out on their world, it spawns a completely separate world based around that thought which is then cast into the Dark multiverse.

Is that how you guys are reading it also? Because if so that's unreal.

Anyone?

Probably an attempt to create a telepathic union on the earthly plane.
Like the astral plane only different.

just curious can you apply feats from what Odin did now to Odin from Avengers (1,000,000 BC

or does time effects him

Odin need one hundred years sleep.

Current Odin is weakened for some reason or other. They never divulged the cause.

Speaking of Odin...

LUCIFER #16
written by DAN WATTERS
art by SEBASTIAN FIUMARA
cover by TIFFANY TURRILL

Who is the Hunted God? That is what Lucifer must discover after prophecy dictates he must save this mysterious prey from a deadly fate in the Wild Hunt, a mythic quest led by one of the most dangerous entities in existence: Odin himself.

lol Scott Snyder is going wild, I say go crazy. Make the biggest cosmic event DC has ever seen

facepalm

Morrison just needs to rub Snyder's belly and tell him he did good... The guy doesn't always have to keep ramping things up, ffs.
