I've not read the issue or this thread.

Can someone give me a quick synopsis of the book?

Book starts with Prime in his world/universe. It's a flashback of sorts of how he became a "monster".
Then back to present with Prime feeling alone and pitiful.. He feels out of place. He left DK's army, but the good army looks at him with distrust.
Krypto comes up to him... Some humanity from him starts to show. The DK's bad supermen army finally come. Good vs evil. When he's hitting one of the evil supermen, he notices that the world where that superman comes from undergoes change. He's surprised and starts to question things. He bolts from the battle and flies past the 52 worlds of DK. He wonders if he can change them if he "kills" DK.
He flies straight at DK's jaws and then some reality shenanigan happens. He sees a world where Laurie is alive and they have a kid etc..
They have a tussle. DK tells him that he doesnt want to expend energy to kill SBP and keeps trying to get SBP to rejoin his army.
They keep fighting, big explosion. Looks like he has DK on the ropes. Big pause. For some reason he feels "his power" surging in him. He may have absorbed some of DK's power. His hand glows with same energy signature. Krypto is back. DK continues to entice him with a world of his own if he joins DK's army.
Doesnt work... He shouts for Krypto to go. His hand glows again with the same energy signature DK has. Boom, he punches DK and all of the 52 evil world's start "vanishing".
The heroes feel confident because with those worlds gone, they believe they have a fighting chance. He falls from the sky.
Dead. Krypto stands over him howling.

SBP wakes up back in his world. Someway somehow, he's back with Laurie in his own world. He's reading the very comic where he just fought DK. Krypto licking his dead body. Laurie barges in his room and he doesnt see the ending.

You're welcome. 😛

Prime speaks about the power and you see an energy trail of The darkest knight, THEN we see a further point and they're surrounded by energy, and then we see his fists start to glow, WITH similar energy from TDK, Prime fist didn't "glow" when he did that retcon punch on that future superman now did it ABHI? It's not up for dispute, he was amped. Your tears doesn't change it

Thanks for the scans/summary Rage and cele. 👆

Honestly interested to read the issue now. Any legitimate explanation as to why Prime was able to do... what he did?

Or are we just going the "it's what Prime does" route?

By now it is clear, Prime has an inherent ability to affect reality when hitting certain things or certain someones. That much is clear.

I for one never really was in that line of thought until qwerty and I had a discussion some time ago about Prime. He doesnt have the ability to just alter reality just like that, but I firmly believe he has some form of power to change reality in the right circumstance.

As for power absorbing, this isnt the first time it's been shown. So...

There are some incredibly strong meta elements at play here.

... In addition to everything else.

Darkest Knight is def not dead, there are more to meet the eyes here, we'll see it in death metal 7

It's just what he does. We see it happening with the imaginary stories reject:

Tbh, it isn't a surprise. He did the exact same thing when he punched himself out of the Phantom Zone, with Beast Boy.

Him killing DK seems like he almost solar flared there, which again I wouldn't be surprised at.

But then, like I kept saying - let's see how it goes. We all thought MMH mindraped Perpetua, only for it to be a fake.

I don't mean this in any bad way -- but I don't know why Thor, or rage, or alberto, or carver or whomever keeps being mentioned in relation to any of this. Who gives a shit? I enjoy thorbag ballbusting as much as anyone, but I don't think there's a single Thor rational fan who understands magnitudes [so...very few] that thinks this is competitive -- other than to troll you [or Diesel, or whomever]. As I said in a thread a few days ago -- you can literally cut Superman's feats by a factor of 1,000,000 and he'd still be above Thor. The only reason Thor is even relevant is because he keeps being mentioned by posters, as if you'd ever get a thorbag to admit he's completely outclassed. Similar to how alberto hasn't said anything relevant in his entire forum life, yet he keeps interacting with Pr and the rest because people keep engaging him.

Imagine Flash fans, when he speed-dumps the Multiverse through time and outruns death going "A ha, what do you think now Hulk? Are you mad carver?" when it's obvious Hulk has zero chance against Flash and the whole discussion makes zero sense.

Thor needs to spend a decade not getting plowed with his own hammer or getting his skull broken by every version of Hulk, Sentry, Tutinaxes, Apocalypse, Minotaurs and every woman or otherwise he comes across before he can ever be taken seriously as an actual high-herald with anything other than play-station style discussions where they ignore him being an incompetent retard. It's like they gave him the Odinpower and power cosmic just to justify putting him in the Avengers and not become brain damaged from getting KOd in every issue.

😂 the truth. Thor, hulk all these other copy clones are nothing compared to the S. Never were.

If all of this is just a dream or illusion, a couple of people need to be laughed at. Hopefully that isn't the case.

@ Alberto’s meltdown. You can see all the stages of grief this guy went through before denial. Hilarious. 😂 😂

Although, SBP DOES say:

"Maybe it's a trick....but I know its not"

So who knows?

Anyway:

When did MMH mind rape Perpetua? He tried to stay ahead of her and make his case in the Justice/Doom finale, only to fail because Perpetua realized it would

Why laughed at?
It would be a twist because nothing now indicates it’s except that it above SBP normal showing

Anyways it seems SuperboyPrime didn’t beat DK

What likely occurred was that SBP likely was granted a universe for free. He was too annoying and as a joke DK granted him his wish.

This doesn’t take away from the amazing showing. Prime legit destroy so many versions of DC heroes and had a nice little fist fight with DK. More than anyone else so far

Might change in next few issues with WW and the gang

If that’s the case, DK gab SBP his world, it wasn’t because he is nice. It was because he knew couldn’t beat SBP.

SBp beat the crap out of him, could have absorbed and ended him. TBWLS couldn’t do anything to him so likely found an out. So even if he tricked prime, he still got his ass handed to him.

The Batman who laughs directly admits, right after losing the 1v1 fight, that he cannot beat Prime, so he tries to make him join him.

Prime refuses, and then proceeds to one-shot him and his whole Multiverse.

Even if it turns out that the Prime Universe was created to get Prime off of him, it still doesn't change the fact that:
- Prime beat him directly
- Prime shattered reality and his multiverse
- The Batman who laughs couldn't, as shown and directly stated, actually overpower Prime.

This is quite far beyond any of his other portrayals -- and his other portrayals were already far above anybody else. So that already says quite a bit.
