I think that's the case for many people.

It's got a unique, quirky, charming, and comedic approach to sci-fi space adventure.

^^^welcome to the universe!

Ha! Thanks. The more Trek the Better.

No idea why I brushed this off before.

It happens.
I blew off Parks & Rec for nearly FIVE seasons.

Still keep planning on getting round to that, I put off watching Archer for about 7 years though so who knows when I will.

With P&R, be ready for the first season to suck, but it does pick up massively after that.

Yeah, they were finding their groove.
There’s a MASSIVELY boring guy in the cast that gets written off, that helped a LOT.

Blob guy?

Yeah he was kinda like a blob...

There’s a photo full of funny people — but wait. Who’s that guy on the far left? From day one, Paul Schneider as Mark Brendanawicz was a bad fit on the hit show Parks and Recreation. Why he took the role is a mystery, even to Schneider himself, who said, “That experience was very strange for me.”

At the end of the second season, he quit, just before the show picked up steam and became one of the most popular series on television.

^ So doesn’t get good until the 3rd season?

Shall I just watch from that point? Dont have the time or patience to go through 2 boring seasons with the promise of it eventually becoming good.

Would have done back in the day, but too much stuff to watch nowadays.

No, it was still good, it just wasnt as good as it was gonna get.
You wanna skip 2 seasons of characterization and plot lines/in jokes that run all the way through the entire series though, thats on you. 😛

Ah right. As long as its still good.

Might not make it past season 2 according to this person

sounds like the guy who wrote it is trying to place doubt on people, Must work for CBS.

^^^haha

Another week another solid ep.
The new security officer that Ed requested (So long, Patrick Warburton!) arrived and established herself solidly in her very first scene and throughout the ep. as a whole.
As to the main plot, i always enjoy first contact/“primitive society” (ie our society) stories, and this was a good one w. a cool resolution.

So no more "bro!" Joe Swanson?

Guess they played that as far as it could go, but kind of liked him.

Same, he was like that gross friend we all had in HS, grown up.

It was a good one. Only real problem, is the fake sun trick doesn't really explain why all those dead people in the escape attempt wasn't much of an issue.

Unless those were non-lethal takedowns. With machine guns. Sure didn't look like it, but maybe..?

^^^My own opinion?
For a (i’m assuming world) government deranged enough to yank premature babies out of the womb, place those born under a certain sign in concentration camps, and who’s population went along w. it like it meant nothing?
Those deaths didnt really matter in comparison to the new star.

Didn't have a chance to see this yet.

It's Isaac centric. Already calling it the best episode ever.
