So... Prednisone Oral... for ear problems?

Am I the only one that finds this strange?

Furthermore, she told me to... hold my nose and swallow a lot, and chew gum.

Reading that apparently prednisone is one of the most DANGEOUS MEDICINES YOU CAN TAKE.

Yeah that kinda scares me, I'm very paranoid about my health. I shouldn't be, but I wanna live to be a great grandfather in all honesty.

I'm rambling now but just thought I'd post this because it kinda weirds me out.

Prednisone is used to treat conditions such as arthritis, blood disorders, breathing problems, severe allergies, skin diseases, cancer, eye problems, and immune system disorders. Prednisone belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids.

So I assume you have an ear problem? and "she" is a doctor? I have to assume cause you gave no context

You can take it n see what happens probs won't die, or just hope your ear gets better on its own? I ain't a doctor

update: friend literally yelled at me not to take it.

she said, and I quote "I know what it is, don't you dare ****ing take it".

I was already have doubts so I think I'm gonna try to get rid of it normally.

Now I kinda want you to take it to see what happens. What's so bad about it?

Water retention, HBP, Delusions, Bone density reduction, muscle loss, fat gain, behavioural changes, mania. Corticosteroids... not good mate.
