Let me get this straight… You lie to X-man who has telepathy and will be able to call you on your bs at any time. You refuse to give him your whole budget (and he'll know it) then you try to force him to face people who are héroes (which he will know being a high end telepath and all).

I'd go to Superman and tell him that I know his secret identity and I'll give it to all his villains, unless he solos the list and leave me alone.

I'd pay John Constantine to get me through the guantlet. He's probably the best prepper who would be sympathetic and take the money.

He's also a fine drinking partner.

👆 I'd rather negotiate openly in terms that make sense to him. He's scarier to face than anyone in this guantlet (at least most of the fighters here would make it quick).

Use the money to work your way up the power/tech hierarchy until your high enough to clear the list. most of us know enough about these universes that 1,000,000 should be enough to get a tech/power that we can exploit to make a lot more money in order to upgrade.
