The fact that either of those two films have a nomination shows just how worthless these awards are, as well as what this awards show is really about. We live in a sad era where race, gender, and sexual orientation, rather than being irrelevant, are now overriding meritocracy and artistic creativity.

Bohemian Rhapsody outright sucks as a movie. Black Panther is awesome. Whether you think it deserves to win BP is subjective, but it's in no way a bad film.
