Correct, if arrested, must be guilty.

What I'm trying to figure out is if they colluded with Russia why did Roger Stone have to try to reach out to Russia to ask about wikileaks?

Being arrested doesn't mean one is guilty, obviously. Don't be so silly, people.

Though I do recall that a certain candidate in 2016, despite being investigated and cleared multiples times, was effectively "I don't care, she's guilty!" in the Trumpersphere.

Um Comey proved she was guilty on live TV but just didn't want to arrest her because she was too powerful he even stated that if anybody else did it they would be arrested.

Cuz it's still funny:

🙄

This is why a small part of me wants Clinton to run in 2020, though not get far. Just to have a hilarious recap of the frothing "But Benghazi!", "But her emails!" all over again.

The information Stone received was already public before he got it, that's what's funny.

If you dont want anyone to care about her illegally deleted emails, why do you care about wikileaks emails from Podesta?

The right is playing the "overkill" card to the hilt.

An easy card to play, as asking why they went to such lengths when arresting the man are natural questions. Was he a flight risk? A danger? Is this posturing for the public, or an intimidation tactic?

I want you to care, as i said, would be funny to have that recapped again. Even though it never really went away fully as Trump still occasionally drops it. So yes, bring back "But her emails!" and "Benghazi!" in full frothing glory while ignoring that Trump's circumventing proper protocols in getting top security clearance for his shady friends and family members.

But the left has been doing the same thing about Podesta's emails saying that because Wikileaks released them, that makes Trump a traitor to his country.

It's absolutely nuts.

At least her emails were state property and subject to government records acts and laws. Podesta's emails were the equivalent of high school gossip and dirty laundry being aired out.

It saddens me that it's the right and not "any rational thinking person". Cuz really everybody should feel this was overkill. I have yet to see a sane rational argument as to why it's not. And "it's legally allowed" is not a good argument considering all the shit that is legally allowed that the left throws a fit over(child separation was legally allowed, deporting anyone here illegally is legally allowed)

Roger Stone was not a flight risk. If he was a danger he wouldn't have been granted bail. This was purely political.

And how the narrative keeps being pushed: "the real story isn't if Roger Stone is a criminal and who cares about the list of charges and what it could mean, but were there too many agents there to arrest him, that's the real story!"

LoL @ Trumpers.

I'm guessing this is the closest you'll ever be capable of getting to admitting "maybe this wasn't handled very well". Okay.

LoL @ Trumpers.

You don't see the difference between everyone in the Clinton Investigation being brought in, giving full immunity, taking the 5th in front of Congress.

vs

FBI swat teams raiding peoples homes?

Fact: Roger Stone was arrested without incident and without injury to himself or others around him.

So if you want me to clutch pearls because too many cops showed up. I can't, you people have already clutched all the pearls.

I'm just waiting until he turns states evidence and then these same "But there were too many cops!" defenders will throw the weasel Roger Stone under the Cuck-Bus while Trump is driving it.
