Re: Neofascists treat men's rights websites as recruitment grounds.
"Neofascists treat these [men's rights] websites as recruitment grounds. They find angry, frustrated young men and groom then in their own image," Abi Wilkinson observed in The Guardian soon after the 2016 presidential election. "The community seems to be largely white. And that's evident because race comes up, a lot. Sometimes, in the form of a kind of racial pseudo-science that advocates use to explain the dynamics of heterosexual relations. The age-old racist argument - that black men are 'taking our women' — is made regularly. Racist slurs are chucked around casually. There seems to be a significant overlap with organised white supremacy."The perception of lost status, stolen inheritance and similar resentments, proliferates in an age where social media can be fine-tuned by a newly aggrieved individual to accelerate wound collection. Members of the far-right, prolific content creators with a semi-sophisticated propaganda dissemination strategy — most accurately described as managed chaos — recognized social media's potential early and are reaping the rewards.
The UW study also posits that, "The performance of a violent massacre provides an illegitimate opportunity for entitled white men to regain lost status and forge a powerful, successful, masculine identity through infamy." Social media may exacerbate this historical motivation behind mass murders, according to forensic scientist Dr. Reid Meloy: "Now we have a setting, a cultural and social setting, where your act of multiple homicides will be known about internationally within moments."
So what is the solution for highlighted parts? Why the government is not helping these men if they were wronged?

Yes it does, what's your point?
It appears as you've been going on a forum bender crying the internet neofascists made a monster. This particular guy went to Europe and Asia and was influenced by his trip there, hence Europe and its active right-wing groups with "boots" on the ground.

He’s right, you have been crying a lot about this an using the forum as a soup bowl for your tears.
Originally posted by BrolyBlackif I was crying I could. I'll translate to polite speak. How does highlighting how internet message boards recruit vulnerable white males who already have anger issues and are looking to hate leftists, women, Hillary etc. help change narrative where some of these men go out and murder for their rightest cause? Perhaps it might help them rethink their actions or highlight who they are to others? Who knows, perhaps it will do nothing. How do all your threads supporting Trump etc. solve anything? I do think it is important to highlight "facts", like this demographic of single white men, do feel entitled and are deranged from normal standards.
Explain how crying about here solves anything.

I don't deny sick individuals use websites to recruit, I was posting that in this particular instance, it appears he went to Europe and was tainted with his boots on the ground. Then followed up and reinforced through the internet. It seems as though Europe has a lot of neo-nationalists (is that a better phrase?) They parade and are vocal and have had several uprisings in positions of power in their respective govts.
It doesn't take the 4-5 different posts you have run to make your point about this.
We know the internet loves its silos and the weirdos are drawn to them to vindicate their weird attitudes regarding change or challenges.
like this demographic of single white men
It's not just white men, its a lot of young men around the globe depending on the region your in. The situations are different but the aggression and displaced anger are seen globally.

I read both your article and mine from the AFP and neither have said definitively that he found groups online before traveling. As a matter of fact, the AFP said he was traveling in France when he started to see things that changed him.
Until more facts emerge I'll take the word of the AFP over your hunch regarding this particular guy.
On an aside, Europe has a much bigger problem than the US concerning far-right movements. You have a [B]number[/B} of countries where bonafide far-right nationalist parties are in govt.

Why don't they spend a bit of their money on escort services? They can learn how to better interact with women and still do have some jollies.
I don't see the problem.
The government can make them legal and add in protections.
