When they say headquarters, are they talking about the headquarters they reside in or the planet. That's an open statement and its unclear.

I read it Abhi, and the next 2 books after it. Hyperion alone survived at the very least, the destruction of his native solar system, and he was impotent to the power of an amateur Starbrand wielder. The kid didn't even have the Starbrand for a week. I don't really care who wins this, but to try to paint the Starbrand as some type of weak weapon is all kinds of bullshit.

Also, Hal kills a sun eater by energy blasts (The beings who drain entire stars) and creates a new sun with two GLs.

I'm not sure why Starbrand is supposed to be impressive when characters like Hal Jordan have superior feats.
