Can the force deflect a spell?

Easy, one argument could be that their shields aren't as good.

Would you argue that the AK would pass through a shield cast by comic Dr Strange or even Odin?

I suppose that could be true, but the shields are super weak then. Yet in the movie Grindelwald has a spell that was apparently gonna destroy London and they combined several shields to contain it...right?

"Quan, uh, finds a way" 😂

Didn't watch the new movies. did that combined shield fail to stop an AK?

Wizards win.

I don't see why it couldn't. The Force exists on a higher level comparatively speaking, than magic. The Force is an energy field created by all living things, including wizards.

thus a wizard would need training in the force just like anyone else. the assumption that magic, designed to impact the physical world, would impact a cosmic energy field in the same level...seems way too presumptuous

Kylo re is one of the weakest "Sith" we've seen and even he was able to hold a blast energy suspended for the entirety of his conversation with Poe. Even if the can't deflect it, they could easily suspend the killing curse long enough to avoid it.

All things are Possible thru the Force.

If we plot the Potter-Earth into the Galaxy, then spells and "magic" would be nothing but another form of manifestation of the Force.

The poor wizards would be no different from the Night Sisters....

God, I hated Courtship of Princess Leia.

I'm sure you probably know them through the Clone Wars toon, where they actually somewhat work, but the source material was just so bad..

Anyways, you're right. If The Force flows through everything, in a shared universe, it makes most sense to make "Wizarding" an aspect of The Force.

Clone Wars toon was a lot of fun. Like it more than the current Rebels stuff....

It can hold blaster bolts in mid-air, I think it's plausible, yeah.

Where's Quan to come in and shoot these theories down? Did Eon Blue kill him?

I don't see why not
off topic: Could darth nihilus feed on the entire planet?

No I don't think an AK is tried. Here is the scene from the movie since you haven't seen it, the clip kinda jumps all over the place, but go near the end, like 3 mins in.

Also my bad it was Paris that was gonna get destroyed, not London. Also to be fair there was no proof it could, it's just said it could. The wizards took it seriously though and even after he teleports away the spell continues to attempt to destroy Paris.

I'm wondering if it's really really advanced fiendfyre?

He is a 30 second video that gives you a better sense of the scale. Don't let the title fool you these aren't actual dragons.
