Virginia Lt Gov accused of sexual assault

Started by Surtur10 pages

I just love it, the democrats were all excited "we gonna have a black man! 2nd black man in history to hold this position!" and there is a rule in Virginia where a governor can only have one term, so since this wouldn't technically be Fairfax's first term, they were glad cuz they could have had a democrat as governor for the next 6-7 years.

Womp womp, that's gone.

And I guarantee you the reason they went after Northam so hard to resign is cuz a black guy could replace him for potentially 6-7 years, they get a dem in power for a long time and the diversity points they crave. Notice they aren't going as hard after the AG to resign? Cuz his resignation gets them nothing.

Lol and remember the standard they set: just 1 week for an investigation isn't enough. It wasn't enough for Kavanaugh.

Broly you wanna laugh? Lol:

Read what she researches, LMFAO!

"Vanessa Tyson will use her fellowship year to research the politics and policies surrounding sexual violence against women and children in the United States. More specifically, she will explore political discourse surrounding sexual assault, corresponding policies, and the unique identities of sexual assault survivors."

Dem congressman told by accuser a year ago that Fairfax had '#MeToo allegation.

"Unfortunately, since every Democrat in America felt comfortable weighing in on Virginia politics after the Northam scandal broke, that is no longer an argument they can make. Democrats, too, are urging caution and waiting for the facts to come out, which would have been reasonable in an earlier time. But as with most matters of race and sex in the age of Twitter, the public standard on the left is no longer wait and see. It’s rush to judge. That there are zero Democrats willing to speak up on the Fairfax matter is an intellectual and moral headache for the party. What’s more, it’s a dynamic easily weaponized by bad-faith actors on the right who are more than happy to paint Democrats as sanctimonious hypocrites on cultural issues."

It's funny you just essentially described the situation Democrats are in. There's that famous leftist projection 👆

Yea that backfired on him

Lol yeah.

Anyways here is what I think the Dems should do...assuming the law in Virginia allows them: First the Lt. Governor should resign. Then Northam should appoint a new Lt. Governor(this is the part where I'm not sure if the law lets him). Then the AG resigns and then Northam resigns.

It gives them a way to get rid of everyone without putting a Republican in power, but it depends on Northam being able to appoint a new Lt. gov.

He should resign if the accusations are true. He should be thrown in prison if they're true, actually.

At this point it's gonna come down to who you choose to believe. This isn't like Kavanaugh since Fairfax admits to an encounter with her, he just claims the entire thing was consensual.

It was just the two of them in his room, so if he is indeed guilty the only way we'll truly know is if he admits it. Unless someone hid a camera in the room he was staying in.

Doesn’t this describe you right now?

Its ok. The Left are busy at work to replace the Black Man with the Brown Man.

So Go ahead and Push that WHAMMIN Button!

Has there been any case on the state level in recent years where multiple politicians have had scandals (in the same party), that threatened to upend multiple members of a cabinet? Interesting situation

Nope

For me personally I've already chosen who I believe. It wasn't a hard choice and skin color doesn't enter into it, hell both are the same race. So far no evidence has been presented to show the sexual assault took place.

My point is that for those who are saying they wanna wait for more info...IMO there won't be much more unless there was a hidden camera in his room. Otherwise it will be he said/she said.
