Goku vs Vegeta

The powers come off and they have equal human stats. Who would win as the better warrior/martial artist? Skill for skill?

But in all seriousness, it's really hard to say. They're basically portrayed as equals across the board now, albeit with very different fighting styles.

With human status the fact Goku is taller would probably give him a significant advantage.

Sometimes Goku is still depicted to be noticeably taller than Vegeta. Other times not so much...

Goku wins.

Goku was smart enough to figure out how to defeat Hit and his little cheat, I would think Goku would win. :3

Technically, Vegeta beat Goku twice already. The first time, solidly, and the second time because Goku let his guard down. Which makes it fair, imo.

Funny thing is, this is totally supported by the manga.
