CW: Green Arrow vs Cicada

Oliver Queen

vs

Orlin Dwyer

- Standard gear.
- Opponents are fighting in an empty warehouse.
- 20 foot starting distance.
- Screen feats only. No statements/hype.

I am specifically excluding statements for 2 reasons:
1. Cicada based on hype >>>>> Cicada based on feats so far.
2. Hype might not even be about Orlin. Nora changed the timeline, so all the hype statements could be referring to the original Cicada, and not Orlin. For all we know, Green Arrow never fought the Orlin version.

So, going by actual onscreen combat showings, who takes this?

Oli will find a way

GA FTW, going by actual onscreen combat showings. Cicada’s main advantage has been depowering metas and taking them out of their element.

Even Iris beat him.

Probably could have finished him, but just stood over his collapsed form and said "We'll beat you" and walked away.

I wonder if she could actually have finished him off? It cracked me up regardless.

Eh. I understand he's had some low showings, but he has some decent feats. He does have a level of super strength and durability and he can also fly, even when the hasn't stolen anyone's powers.

I think he has a shot, he'll start off by throwing his dagger at GA. The thing isn't as easy to avoid as one might think. In the latest episode he showed even greater control of the weapon. Even after getting hit in his weak spot with the dagger he was able to fly away.

Man, the CW shows have some MASSIVE CIS.

Haven't watched any of them since bits-and-pieces of Flash season 3 I think, and it was mind-numbingly dumb then.

Always best to just kinda best a villain and give them a talking-to.

Dude, you have no idea. One week he gets solo'd Iris, the next week they need an elaborate plan involving multiple heroes and time manipulation to beat him. It's just like, "Wut?"

I'm used to the PIS by now lol. After years of watching Smallville, then Arrow and then Flash...yeah.
