I hate and detest guns, except for hunting. i know how to use one. All weapons in my opinion are cowardly, however, the problem with that statement of mine is not everyone is the same size and as Michael Bisping said once and it's true in an alagorical sense he has bigger shits than a lightweight. To a point a bigger guy shouldn't beat up someone smaller, but for some reason little men always seem to be the ones with something to prove and the ones most likely to be tooled up. This isn't getting at you I have no idea how big or small you are. But people who give it then go for a weapon when people pound on them are pretty stupid. In the UK, I think our culture is different, because guns are less available and sentences for carrying knives are very high led alone using them. We fight more.
I actually have a shotgun in the UK and a hunting rifle here.

Sure but I don't want anyone to take that as words of violence, we've both done combat sports so sparing isn't a big deal and generally no one really wants to hurt the other person. Some people use it as posturing, done in poor faith.

Oh yeah, for sure.
My grandfather, thankfully, made me train with a bow to hunt deer before we went hunting. He said hunting with a bow and arrow made it more personal as well as respect nature more.
And he also taught me that you NEVER kill what you won't eat (disrespectful to both God and nature).

Yeah I have a 120lb recurve, yeah I said 120lb. That thing would shoot through a tank but I normally use an 80 or even 100. Shoot to kill and eat what you shoot.
Huge among many hunters, respect life. I think many times thats overlooked. Killing is a loss and you want to make sure the life taken gives back.

Getting violent over words is cowardly. And I won't even get into the discussion of how brave it is to shoot animals who can't defend themselves against some dude with a rifle.

Nobody is under any obligation to let someone violently assault them and it's not as if a boxing ring and referee are going to magically appear out of thin air to keep the fight fair and search each party for guns and knives. No see the wiser choice is to just keep your damn hands to yourself. Which is something you should have learned when you were a child.
