Orange man bad.

Bad bad orange man, the baddest man to ever have a tan. Badder than ol' King Kong, do anything but hate Trump and you're wrong.

Joe Biden: Vote for me, I’m not Trump.

Sad, sad, sad. I wish Tulsi Gabbard or Andrew Yang was running.

But ya, Trump needs to get our. Biden will last 5 months, Harris will step up, and we’ll have a much much more effective POTUS.

This sums up Bidden's policy on gun control and home security!

He is, he has given voice to the worst and most prejudiced people. Worse, more than voice he has given validation.

No, just one element of the 20,000 page tax code. It's is giving exactly a 7.65% tax cut to the poor and working class in America.

Right. To a poor person, 7.65% tax cut on their pay check can be the difference between paying the bills and not eating to paying the bills and eating.

However, this does not take into account the tax benefits the bottom 3 quintiles of household income earners get, already.

This is how the tax system currently breaks down by household income quintile:

So it's just giving the bottom 3 quintiles more money off of their paycheck and it deepens the tax burden gap.

Which I'm definitely okay with - poor people can't afford shit. Giving them a tax break is fine.

But what if it does end up taking away the SS and medicare stuff? Are they not now going to cost more because of the lack of taxes being put in to them?

Yes, theoretically if it remains only a deferral they will have a large tax bill in December that many won't be able to pay on top of the taxes they are already not able to pay.

That's what I had read, but I wasn't sure about it.

That's just not how tax revenue and entitlement funding works in the US.

If it did, the deficit we run each year would defund almost everything. Notice how nothing is defunded unless someone (president, congress) defunds it?

It's quite easy to poke huge holes in the partisan argument made about this payroll tax talking point. It's just more anti-Trump bullshit. Not everything Trump does is bad/evil.
