Obama won it in 2008 and 2012. He won it in 2012 with only 17-18 counties, the Ohio map was mostly red from a land area POV. While Clinton tanked Ohio in 2016.
Biden could do it if his campaign plays it smart and doesn’t just assume Ohio will go his way.
Looking at the midterms, the dems made gains throughout the rust belt, except in Ohio, Wisconsin and Minnesota where the numbers stayed the same. Iowa and Florida actually did better.
North Carolina also didn't change so it's pure tossup amongst a lot of states going by dumb stats.
