Actually, every Trumper with the exception of one (one of my best friends) that I know tend to be people who travel very little and have little to no desires in experiencing other countries and cultures. My wife's family has a bunch of Trumpers, uncles, aunts and cousins.
My BF who unfortunately is a Trumper, he was in the Navy for 20 years, dude has been all over the world because of it. His brother, my other BF, can't stand Trump the clown.

The debates won't matter. Clinton wrecked Trump in the debates. She still lost. She lost because she was lazy and thought she'd win without hitting the campaign trail. She beat Trump on almost every other metric except rallies and places visited.
Honestly, I think it will be the opposite of 2016. Between hearing Trump and Biden speak, Trump is definitely more quick-witted, so he will probably spend the debates mocking Joe's slowed speech as proof of his mental incompetence. But it won't matter because Trump has humiliated himself so much over these past four years that ANY OTHER OPTION will seem preferable.
