Voting in person?

Yes I will be doing what I usually do: early voting in person.

Yes.

That's good, wouldn't want your vote to wind-up in a ditch somewhere. Since you plan on voting Trump that would be a very real possibility lol.

Well that isn't why I'm doing it I'm just not a pussy.

Absentee Ballot, not mail-in ballot.

Functionally no difference, though.

As I understand it, one is requested and one is not. One just uses voter lists which can be inaccurate.

I have never voted by mail though so I dunno.

in nj all registered voters were mailed a ballot. i had the option of forgoing the mail-in and showing up in person. iirc i could still legally choose to change my mind and go vote in person, which would negate and cancel my mail-in vote

I didn't know that. But verification is generally the same between the two ballot types.

I’ve been doing absentee voting my whole life. It’s easy and convenient. No reason not to really unless you like doing it in person.

I admit I would prefer people have to request the ballot if they don't wanna go in person.

Watch the vid when you get a chance.

To be clear I still don't think he will win.

Can you name the poll he is he referring to? Don’t care to watch the video. I’ve not seen any poll by any of the known pollsters that has Trump ahead right now.

I'll be honest I googled one of the links he talks about it the vid and as of now it is not working for me:

https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1343305/US-election-poll-donald-trump-coronavirus-covid-joe-biden-exclusive-polling

Ok thanks. I looked it up and found it. Never heard of that polling group before.

Yeah, to be honest I find polls to be interesting but I don't tend to let them shape who I feel will win.

As I've been saying(and you have seen before) I think Trump winning in 2016 was an anomaly and that he isn't going to win this year.

I agree. I like looking at polls and then comparing how accurate they are to the results. It’ll be doubly interesting this time because they were wrong in 2016. Though that was more on the state polls. The national polling was pretty accurate in 2016.

I can’t believe the election is in less than a month already.

I thought that was in a specific area, but that it wasn't until the 14th it's widespread?

EDIT: Damn I guess it did start already. I don't know why I thought the 14th. Well I'll be going Friday then.
