This time, Trump's lead is less than what it was in 2016, from Rasmussen. Remember, towards the end, only 2 major pollsters got it right: LA Times and Rasmussen.
As Blakemore likes to point out, it comes down to the EC votes more than it does the overall picture. So a Trump lead in the late game does not equal a Trump win.
Among black voters, Trump approval skyrocketed to 46%, this week. That's some sort of odd modern-day record for a Republican candidate. I don't know when the last time a presidential candidate had this much approval among black voters. Probably not since the GOP freed the slaves?
