If 2016 is anything to go off of, the election is pretty much done as the states are currently colored.

And the reason why Biden was leading in all of those swing states early on: early voting which strongly Democratic leaning.

At one point, Biden was ahead in Pennsylvania I over 300 K votes. Very early on.

The issue is mail in votes which will likely be more blue. It may be enough to swing states like PA and WI.

The best strategic move from the Democratic Party would have been to strongly push for Tulsi. She would have pulled enough votes from Trump to make a Democratic win super easy.
