The state has already seen its voting practices get challenged all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, which voted 4-4 in October to leave intact a three-day extension to receive mailed ballots. I was hoping for a 3rd party to take away the majority for both the Dems and the GOP. That would be the greatest most probable outcome. Didn't happen. We got the opposite. One of the third party seats was lost to the GOP.

Ted thinks they are going to throw out thousands of Biden votes and that Trump still can win.
Let's make the clear: Ted thinks they are going to invalidate tens of thousands of Biden votes. He thinks that a significant portion of the mail-in ballots will be invalidated during recounts.
I really like Ted and I think he has a great mind for law but...man, that seems rather far-fetched. Can't but think that's rather cope-y of him.
Wish I could talk to Sen. Cruz and discuss the numbers. I don't think the invalidated votes from the recount will come even close to tens of thousands. But he participated in the Florida recount stuff back in 2000. What happened to the votes, then? I remember the votes almost not changing at all.

Turns out I was right:
Bush's margin of victory in Florida went from 327 votes to 935 votes after final recount. Almost no change to Bush's lead when you consider the total vote counts.
