what is smith´s part in revolutions?

what does he want? in the theatrical preview, that runs after reloaded, the oracle says something like "you (she means neo) is everything that is still in his way. if you won´t stop him tonight, i fear that there will be no tomorrow". What is the meaning of this? what is smith up to do? Can anybody help me out?

No one, of course, knows the full plot to the next one. But the trailer does suggest Smith's role in the next one is quite pivotal.
