What "dark magic" ? He showed telekinesis and the ability to create fire. Fire isn't gonna kill Superman and the TK isn't impressive enough to harm someone as durable as Superman.
And since this version of Superman has not displayed any specific vulnerability to magic you can't even say he'll lose based on that.
