I don’t know. However because of Bioware’s **** up during KotOR the Sith were retconned into being the ones who created the first “modern” lightsaber.

Even Ajunta Pall had a saber. Though it seems to vary based on battery pack to handheld based on depiction.

Protosabers were used at the time and were basically the lite version of nowadays sabers.

For the fact that Hord got one barely after Muur’s time is a tad bit questionable, as those are higher technology then Protosabers.
