Jet Kun Do, isn't an effective hybrid system, get a wing Chun or Jeet Kun do practitioner to try it on a heavyweight at any boxing, must thai, wrestling, or BJJ club. In fact get him to try it on a much larger man lol. See what happens.

And anyone can be fast. Certain boxers used ridiculously fast "slaps" that had no power, to accrue points.

For all we know, BL's lightning fists might not even stun a bigger man.

Exactly cdtm 👆

Typo for Jeet not Jet, although benny the jet would have killed Lee.

And muay for must lol

I wanna say how thoroughly thrilled I am at the arguments being made on both sides.

I (and Batman apparently) admittedly did not even consider weight class when first entertaining this match. Google tells us Bolt has at least 40 pounds on Lee when Lee was at his heaviest, and Bolt is a full 9 inches taller. Those are huge advantages no matter how powerful and skilled Lee is as a fighter.

What did I kill it?

This is where movement speed vs. fighting speed comes in.

Technique and mass are probably going to play a bigger role than speed here, IMO. Both have fast limb speed. Both have fast reflex speed (Bolt might not fight, but sprinters still train their reactions for starting guns). But one guy is notably bigger while the other guy is actually trained in combat. I'd still probably back Lee because he has actually trained himself for this specific type of contest, whereas Bolt hasn't. But as others have also said, and while movies often ignore these things, a significant size advantage in a fight, in the real world, is always going to play a huge factor, so he'd need to be careful.
