The idea behind It being obvious that John would win is laughable. If Adam was nerfed for no reason whatsoever, then yeah sure John wins, but John isn’t as spectacular as people claim. At least not in every showing. Has he gotten one shot, bloodied, pushed around, outright defeated? Of course. What we seem to have here once again, is that one guy is given top respect while the other is being advertised as the underdog based on what may appear to be something that it is not. America may just be that powerful, or have the ability to translocate to a dimension that she is that powerful. Power sets, and versatility are at times game changers, to put it into perspective after all. Translocation to other dimensions is one of her many powers.

So how would these beings that John decimated, or simply defeated stack up in Marvel space? What feats did these beings have? How did John defeat them? Are we claiming that Marvel is so weak, that DC heralds would actually be Marvel Cosmics on the level of Galactus within Marvel space? If so, what is there to talk about?

However, problems arise when guys like Doctor Light push GL’s so hard that if he managed to hit them it would result in a near fatality. How then can someone turn around and claim that Adam would be no threat obvs.
