Worst Miscastings

In film sometimes an actor will get a role he/she aren’t cut out for. What are some roles that you’ve seen over the years that an actor could not pull off? Was it their acting style that sabotaged the role, or an aspect of the character that didn’t fit with the actor? How did they affect the movie for you?

Wasn't there a thread for this already?

I seem to recall Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor immediately coming to mind...

Brie Larson as Captain Marvel.

Ice Cube in XxX

Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. I still like the movie despite the poor casting. It's fun enough to look past to some extent because it is so over-the-top anyway and such a visual treat, but they really didn't have much chemistry and didn't seem the proper age range.

Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan.

Though at least in other material for the movie they said he had altered his appearance. Or at least I think that occurred.

Keanu Reeves as Jonathan Harker.

They even put him in an end credit scene for Justice League as if that movie wasn’t already bad enough

“Mr Wilson, shouldnt we have a league of our own?”

I wanted to be more excited for Deathstroke but was too distracted at how bad Eisenlex still was. lmao
