The original wasn’t so I’ve got a bad feeling this might be the same

Do wish they’d release R rated versions though cause the original, I think, was an R rating to begin with and had Venom biting off heads in full view

I know, I was surprised by that. I know he’s directed before but had no idea he was directing this.

Personally don't give a fu[k if it's R rated or not. Just want it to not be as sh1t as the first attempt.

The trailer doesn't give me any hope that it will be.

Had me laughing through-out and really enjoyed the fight scenes.

For me it came across as they didn't know whether they wanted a funny or a serious movie so straddled between them and so neither aspect worked.

I also thought Riz Ahmed was terrible in it which is strange because he's an excellent actor. I particularly liked him in Four Lions and The Night Of.

as for this film i'm looking forward to it, I liked the first Venom movie and no it was far from a perfect movie and not every movie neeeds to be.

Was very nicely surprised when I saw it as wa expecting it to be garbage and crapping on it for weeks/months before its release lol

Dark comedy. Had bits of horror but was definitely more fun than dark.
