I know the type of woman being referenced.

But their dogs are not really gender specific.

But they are the type of woman that seems overly involved with their dogs. And they are insecure. Treat their dogs like their children. And fill the void in their heart where children should be because they are too dysfunctional to form a lasting relationship long enough to get married.

This seems like an oddly specific woman but I saw it enough times that it seems to be a "type." It's different from Horse Women or Cat Women. Dog women...they need dogs for the constant emotional reassurance because they are easy to love.

If she's single, lives alone, is in her late 20s/early 30s, has never been married, and only has dogs - she's probably this type.

I don't think the incels are talking about dog fanatics here, they're talking about women who are supposedly choosing to have sex with dogs instead of them.
