Surtur vs. Ego

Surtur is on Ego's planet. He's at full size and about to plunge his sword deep into Ego's core. Ego launches his defenses to try and stop Surtur. Who succeeds?

If Surtur is on the surface, then Ego has a chance.

If Surtur has reached the core, I guess Surtur would kill him.

Surtur was unkillable until he fulfilled his destiny of destroying Asgard, as said by Surtur himself.

Also not sure Surtur's sword is long enough to reach a planet's core. While Asgard has been described as a "planet" by Thor, it was more of a realm, flat and not very thick.
