Only around 6% of American Scientists are Republicans.

Ladies and gentleman: dude just legit quoted a post where he calls people stupid, a post where he can't even spell "stupid" correctly.

Yeah. I also remember reading an article recently about a climate scientist who said his colleagues would just hide data if any data showed that stuff like planting tree's did not benefit the environment or help climate change.

So given attitudes like that, and given the recent "grievance studies" hoax where scholars submitted a bunch of retarded shit for peer review(like dog parks add to rape culture) just to see if these people would take the bait...it does not shock me most scientists are liberal.

Click the link the Scientists are broken down.

Trump ran his campaign on anti-intelligence, anti-intellectuals and anti-science, in fact, he told his Cult that he's the smart one and all they need to do is trust in him and follow, "I alone can fix it", "I love the poorly educated", "I have the best brain, believe me" etc. So it's no surprise.

I doubt more of them are Republican subsequent to Trump, no wonder he hates the Educated.

I was once a data scientist.

Still not a Republican. 🙂

2009 was the year after Obama was first elected and before all the scandals surrounding the IRS and the war in Iraq came to light, wasn't it?

I'm guessing a lot more Americans—scientists included—would identify as independent voters in today's political climate.

That would fit with the identification trends we've seen over the last 10 years. You're correct.

A lot of Scientists identified as independent then, issues like Climate Change would be deal breakers for Republicans.

The whole notion of party loyalism is antidemocratic and only appeals to retards.

As for specific issues like climate change; present me with a solution that makes sense rather than this shit we have in Sweden where every newly discovered molecule in gas gets its own tax—which only serves to make normal citizens dirt poor.

Great post 👆

I think Party Politics works because usually parties broadly fit or don't fit us and in fact we are unable to change this. I have always voted Labour in the UK as to me, they are the nearest to my own opinions or the best of a bad bunch. I will never vote Tory as their views do not fit me.

I just typed this out with tears of happiness.
