Thanos is powerful and all but he was portrayed as basically a skilled brute

As long as Apocalypse avoids h2h he should win pretty easily. Thanos has no real defense against TK or transmutation

Not sure Apoc has displayed the kind of power it would take to put Thanos down, but aside from that, Thanos doesnt really have much to deal with Apocs power set.

Apoc wipes him from existence like the gauntlet, even if it takes time. Don't have a psi per hit from Thanos, but I don't think it's as high as the force Magneto was hurling at Apoc's shields in XMA.

Thanos can win if Apoc goes H2H and Thanos start grappling/hacking him up, but Thanos would have to do it quick quick quick, and TK is not the purple giant's friend.

He would've been killed by Scarlet Witch if he wouldn't have used the broken arrow tactic.

He was unbeatable in Endgame. He showed Thor with his axe and Thanos weaponless with Cap helping was not enough after Thanos was attacked and pounded on during the final act.

Apoc was against the X-men ffs. Thor alone would have them shitty their pants. Thanos would Maul Apoc.
