Better film: Infinty War Vs Endgame

***POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK***

Which film was better and which did you prefer and why?

To me, Infinity War is higher quality film and I prefer it because it had the superior story and writing, Thanos in Infinity War was a much better and more layered villain, the hero of his own story and you could almost sympathize with him at times.

In Endgame, the story was messy at times, silly at others and Thanos was regulated to a more cookie-cutter "I want to destroy cos I am angry!" type of villain. I understand that this is Thanos nine years in the past and this could account for his less mature/sympathetic outlook on life. But still, Endgame suffered for it compared to being lifted by him in Infinity War.

Infinity War was a better film all-around. The plot was more cohesive, Thanos himself was portrayed better(as were most other characters aside from Hulk), etc.

Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy Endgame for the most part, but it just has more weak points, imo.

Both are inferior to Thor Ragnarok, which is the only metric that matters.

Honestly Endgame (though fun, and a good conclusion to 12 years and 22 films) struggles to get in my top 5 MCU films.

In terms of comparisons, Endgame seemed to depend too much on the

IW by a mile. Endgame was super disappointing.

Reality is often disappointing.

Endgame for me. Without a doubt.

Endgame. I had some problems with Infinity War and find it a bit of a pretentious overproduced bore. However, I thought Endgame was close to perfect.

loved both a lot... i give endgame the slight edge but you cannot go wrong with either film
